I need help......

Ever since I traded my distributor with my friend, (because my car was "totaled" so I was being a good friend) my car has been acting up. When I turn it on it feels like its stalling the rpm's drop and when I gas it it sputters. So the way I get around it is I shut if off and start it again.

My friend told me it could be my injectors but, if I shut the car off and turn it back on it stops. (Drives fine after that)

Im pretty sure its the distributor, but not sure if its just the rotor or the ignition itself.

his SI is R.I.P. lol that would of been the plan. Im going to run the code today and see what comes up.

do you have any check engine codes i mean first check you plugs, wires and make sure your firing order is correct first. then test the coil then the ICM if not replaced the whole dissy with a another i mean are you getting spark and fuel
