Meet Zero 95 civic turbo

hi im new so just introducing my self. my name is Les and this is Zero. i would have named him a her but like i tell everyone "my car not a p***y it has balls" lol. anyway heres a quick run down. b18c1 block, b16a head, custom turbo kit. more pics on page 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 (new project car), 9 (my other ladys), 10 (selling PATRICIA & update of Zero), 13 (update on SHERI), 14 (update on ZERO)

back when i got my car digi cams wasnt out yet. so i scanned pics i took in the past. i couldnt find my pic of the car when i first got it as stock. but this is it lowed with a lot of stickers. DONT LAUGH it was only a stage. this was in 97. i also started buying what ever bolt performance parts i could get for the sohc.





these pics blow but this is when i added a body kit in 98. andys full body kit.



then i added the veilside front to replace the andys. i went through 2 of these bumpers and 3 bottom pieces.


in 99 my car was vandalized which when i took it to the body shop i decided to change the color. which i didnt do it right b/c i went from horizon grey to a custom blue and not doing the engine bay. then shortly after i did the full 2 tone color interior and changed the rear bumper from andys to extreme and a greddy kit (but couldnt find the pic of the bayw/greddy kit).





had the greddy kit for almost a year and wanted more power. so i ended up building the sohc bottom end and upgrading the tubo setup and still ultilizing part of the greddy kit all done at RAGE Jason whitfield shop. wasnt happy again so KG built the sohc head. took it to the dyno and put down 230+. me being a noob at turbo i expected more. to full feel my needs i went and added NOS through Jay Smith from ONE. was fun till it blew after 5 straight weekend street racing and 5 refills of the bottle.


when the sohc blew i was done with sohc's. so i upgraded to a gsr motor. but i wasnt going to put it in till it was built. duing the build i was able to get my hands on a b16 head which brought the compression down and basicly made a poor man R and at that time i decided since the motor was commin out to paint the bay. got the motor back from KG fully assembled and all i need to do was mate the head and block. then drop it in.





this is what my car looked like in 2001 when i was redoing my build. i dont have pics like these of me building him when i added a body kit and full interior in 98. but here, i was in the process of repainting the whole car inside out, changed all the moldings and weather seals, taking off the body kit and getting other mods for interior, exterior, and suspension stuff.









during the time it was in the shop i was also rebuilding the motor MYSELF w/new overbored arias pistons, rod bearing, boring and decking the block. the motor was fully built to begin with by OG man himself KG Engineering (Kurt Gordon) but AEBS was still able to melt two forged pistons on the dyno. i havnt had to rebuild since 01 but the car hardly been driven.






this is what one of the piston looked like after AEBS was done with the tuning. i dont have the other one b/c my cousin took it for his ash tray lol.

no track times yet. i mainly built the car out of fun and the love for the hobby but will hit the track once i get a weld in cage. maybe ill go make one good run then get kick off b/c of safety regulations. ill see when fontana will be open for street legals.

well the hood used to serve a purpose when i had my turbo filter behind it but now the filter is on the other side lol. but the hood been with me for years, now it serves sentimental value ;) . i also have my oem hood tho. the rear difusser does serve a purpose but im going back to a stock bumper and use this one for the track (if i ever go). btw im looking for a stock rear bumper if anyone in the scali area is selling one.


What size is that intercooler?
the core size is 24x12x3 and from endtank to endtank its 31.5.

when i was building my car i didnt want to follow the whole jdm theme so i just went back to the old school clean look with a taste of drag in it. my car been this way for about 6 years now. so maybe it time to see it with the stock hood. ill take new pics later once i get a new bumper and maybe put my stock hood on lol.

it coo. i only went with that combo b/c back then type r motor where expensive. this was a cheap way to have a type r motor a poor man style. also b16 head flows better with turbo and lowers compression.

hey guys check out my first page. i actually redid my profile and added pics of the changes ZERO's been in. i was going through some pics and i scanned some of my ladys ride from back in the day. it was a 91 crx si that she added a bodykit, rims, and intake. she loved this car. too bad i totaled it. the paint wasnt as bright as the pics just a bad camera and lighting. she ended up getting a HB and painted it the same color as my coupe.

nah it wasnt me. i rarely drive the Evo. my sugar mama drives it most of the time but she was at work. actually that night the evo was at home. i dropped my lady off and picked her up in the NSX.......i dont think ima hit up the formula d event b/c of helping my boy e****. unless i can get him to roll out.

wish i took pics of us dropping the motor in. that my dawg in the driver seat giving me the :TU: on the shifter and brakes. shes running now but just need to get exhaust and register. then ima take apart and restore. just got it running to register her. ill post more later.
