Difference between a 96-98 and 99-00

Hey sup everyone im new to the site and new to the car world. Just woundering what is the difference between these years the cars look the same to me I dont understand. Which is better. I just bought me a 96 red 2dr coupe should be getting it this weekend if everything goes well. What do you guys think good buy? Its a 1.6 to swapped in the future.

I wish lol. I havent picked it up yet Im waiting on my check for a loan cause i dont have the full amount so soon as thats all set, I will bring the guy the check and we will exchange everything and I will bring the car home. Here are the info bout it:

1996 Honda civic. Modifications are: 99-00 complete body conversion 99-00 si lips fresh red paint gsr wing si interior power windows installed pioneer cd player gsr floor mats KYB AGX adjustible suspension tein springs ARP extra long wheel studs skunk 2 forged lug nuts Rota slip stream 15" wheels with good tires 90% tread integra gsr rear suspension with rear disc brakes brand new pads and rotors pace setter 421 header magnaflow muffler custom air filter front strut bar Formula one window tint(lifetime warranty) Thats it for modifications other than that the air conditioning had been removed from the engine compartment, there are a few interior pieces missing and the exterior door moldings need to be installed. the gauge cluster has been replaced but i believe there to be around 110,000 and 150,000 miles on the car. it runs great and handles even better! great track car, possible big motor swap car or even daily driver! ive driven it all over florida and have never had a problem! allways changed oil with Mobil 1 sinthetic oil on regular basis.

ok... off the top of my head....

96-98: has a more "rounder" front end, red and amber tailights, diff climate console that is mechanical, no map light, non lower seat hight adjustable... i think thats it... so the other one

99-00: has a more agressive front end, red and clear tailights, climate console is diff and electrical, a front map light, and the seat bottom on the driver side is adjustable.....

there really isnt a "BETTER" one but its more of a personal pref..
