Site Traffic

Ok for the last month or so I have seen a big decrease in site traffic I am thinking of shutting down the site! I have emailed the Coupe Council members and they have not come on the site I have emailed the site registered users and they are not coming back on the site

I have invested so much time and money into the site and taken time away from my family so I think its best to just close the site

Participation by the site mods has even decreased so what should I do?

I'm here pretty much everyday. My internet at the moment sucks and likes to randomly disconnect for hours+. also with college coming to an end right now I haven't had a whole lot of time. once I pass my state liscensure and get a job at a hospital i'll be good to go as well as my build thread!

agreed as well...this is by far my favorite site of them all. i have gotten more out of this site than any others as well. just has a better feel to it i guess. i understand you have to do whats best for you and your family but my vote is keep JDMCC alive. i know it must be hard to support something with a decline in traffic but what can we do to help you?

well a lot of the issue is TIME and everyone is getting older, spending more time working/going to school/family etc. I know from a lot of experience that you will see an increase during summer while people are out and it's too hot to be outside!

I dig this site. Everyone who is on here is nice, and no dickheads. Most all the other sites with MORE traffic brings more assholes to the site. We wouldnt want that. I do realize that the site is getting slower, but maybe its just their time of the month haha. It will pick back up.

im here when i can from working on the civic to working on the Lincoln LS i got and working 70 hours a week im pretty much killed out when i get home but i still try and log in when i can.

Not owning a civic, not autocrossing, and getting hammered with school has seriously decreased my posts.
I still try to get on here as much as I can and still consider this my "home" forum.
I totally understand the need to shut it down due to finances and lack of use though.
I would hate to see the site go, but stuff happens.
If this site does go under, I'd still like to stay in contact with the members via myspace, facebook, e-mails or whatever.

This is one of the two forums that I usually frequent. It used to be three with JDMC but that's been down for a while now.

One of the things I like about this site is that it's not that big and it's more of a close nit community. Now, I guess some may think that's bad and others may think that's good. I understand Dina, you want this to be a great site, which it is, and maybe you want this site to be huge and have thousands and thousands of members. I just see it as more and more people on a forum cause more and more trouble i.e. Honda-Tech. Both forums that I'm a member of are small but really great sites with great people. Personally that is the way I like 'em.

I truly appreciate what you've done to and for this site, it has definitely come a long way since day one. I'm sure you've noticed that people have come and gone, because I definitely have noticed. Some leave the Honda scene and think that since they don't own a Honda anymore they're not welcome here, and that's totally false. We also have members that have left the Honda scene and bought another brand and still post to the site. You have said it before and I'll repeat it, anybody and everybody is welcome to join as long as they don't cause a bunch of drama.

hahaha naw bro, i dont mean to sound like a dick, but this is prolly one of the slowest forums i have been on, with no help from me. im just sayin if its more of a hassle for dina then shut down. just my .02
