ok a cold air is a bit louder but not much... better HP numbers but have to worry about water puddles... the only way to fix that is running a AEM cold air with a bypass valve.. and the AEM cold air V2 does NOT have an option for it... Just FYI....

Just get a short ram and call it a day

you can also just go with a drop-in panel filter like K&N, Spoon, HKS, etc. usually cheaper than an entire intake system. also going to be more quiet than a full intake. you can also go custom and build your own intake like a couple members have done on here....

check out this thread for pictures and info about different intakes:

Ya I would definetly suggest going to Ebay and buying a short ram and filter for like 30 bucks, like Red 4 said

acutally, u can get a CAI if you want, and custom fit the Bypass valve ( bought seperatly) if u have any means of a cutting tool, such as a dremel, or saws-all. Just make sure u get the right sized fitment for the bypass valve, in diameter, or youll end up doing what i did, using a large number of rubber connecters to get it to fit right, (2.5 inch intake tube with a 3" bypass valve, lol) but hey, it still fits perfect.
