ok i did a lil test myself and found out that with easier driving i got 281 Miles out of 10 Gallons.... my gas tank is 12 Gallons and i just refueled and topped out on 10 gallons thats why i know that i used only 10 gallons.... so a lil math..... im avaraging 28.1 MPG!!!!!!!!!!! now some of you might be like so... thats about right for a SOHC... but im running a 2000 GSR! and my car runs a lil RICH...... now i found out that most consumers get 25-27MPG on a stock GSR .... im running a AEM short ram, DC 4-1 Header and a full header back exhaust... also on a US Type R ecu.... and in case you didnt notice before... IM RUNNING RICH!!!!!!!!!!... what MPG are you guys getting?...

thats not too suprising, you have a bigger engine with more torque in a light car so when you're not accelerating then engine doesn't have to work very hard to mantain speed

theres a guy around town with a turbo gsr in a 5th gen hatch, he gets 35+ :)

drove 208 miles on roughly 5.5 gallons of gas. All high way, any where from 60-90. right now I've gotten 120 on lil less than half a tank, both city, highway and some spirited driving.

the old SOHC saw 40+ on highway trips with the cruise set on 65-70. Those were the days, lol.

Hmmmm. I used to commute between Yakima, WA and PDX, OR quite a bit, they are 170 miles apart, I'd drive through the gorge against the 40mph wind, and through a small mountain pass, I would average around 34-36mph on these trips.
Last weekend I raced (auto-x) in Packwood, WA. My co-driver and ran six runs averaging 64 seconds each, killed almost half a tank of gas.

D16y8 w/ AEM CAI, 4-1 header, & RS*R exhaust. I'm between high 20's and low 30's mpg. My commute to work is only 3 miles round trip, so gas mileage has been shitty around town. The car saw 80,000+ freeway miles from day one at about 40-50 miles a day. Still does awesome on weekend trips and freeway commutes.

27.5mpg right now =/

Running rich as hell too, and the car needs a tune-up. I know its capable of 30+, Im just gonna have to spend some money on a dyno tune haha. Stay away from basemap ECUs!
