I took my Corvette to a small car show today. It was the only old Corvette there. I didn't win anything but it was fun. A few imports showed though, I was surprised if I knew that I would have brought the civic too. Anyway here the pics.

No way!!!! Is that your Corvette? That thing looks awesome. Fill us in on the details. How long have you had it? What have you done to it? Is it original?

Well it's my dad's and mine. He bought it back in 71' for $1700. The original owner bought a silver one and had it painted yellow cuz his wife wanted a yellow one but couldn't find one. Then about 3 years ago me and my dad started restoring it. I bought the wheels and tires, all new emblems, gas cap, new grill, all new tail light bezels and brake lights, new reverse lights, new convertible top, new mirrors, had the bumpers re-chromed, had the valve covers polished, new air cleaner cover and decal, new clutch( i blew it up). and all new hardware for the door handles and windows. He paid for the paint job and had the engine pulled and repainted and all new gaskets. It came out awesome. Before the restore we would only drive it about 4 times a year now we drive every chance we get. Here's the specs: 1967 roadster, silver, 327/350hp 4 speed manual, and yes it's all original. If you wanted to know it's kinda a hard car to drive, no power steering or brakes, and on the highway it's all over the road. Here's a couple more pics of the show i only took 15 pics.

Thanks for sharing the pics! Those Corvettes can go for a lot of money, hold onto that thing, not saying you would sell it but I've seen them go for high dollar amounts at auctions.
