This is a simple how to paint your wheels the rattle-can way. I am using 2 cans of gloss black dupli-color and 2 cans of dupli-color high gloss clear coat. You will also need 800 grit wet/dry sand paper, a red scuff pad, rubbing alcohol, paper towels, pack of note cards, masking tape, and a lot of time. Her is what i started off with a gun metal Motegi MR7.
Step 1. Wet sand your wheel with p800 grit sand paper. The more time you spend sanding the better your wheels will come out.
Step 2. Scuff with a red scuff pad real good.
Step 3. Let all the air out of the tire and place the note cards around the lip, make sure they're in there good so when you start spraying they don't blow onto the face of the wheel. This is light coat #1.
Light coat #2
Wet coat #1
Wet coat #2
Now repeat 4 coats of clear and your done. here's my finished product.
