View Full Version : How to Polish your Headers

First off, I followed this DIY from H-T so I'm not going to take any credit for it. I am simply passing on the good write-up that helped me out a lot. But the only thing is, I used 1500 and 2000 grit sandpaper as well to achieve a better shine.

lol looks nice i should do that to mine lol a little tip when you mount the header use alcohol and whipe it around the header and turn on the engine it will make it look like purple lol

the key to is is patience. You're gonna get a product of the time you put in. I actually used 2000 gril sandpaper as well for finishing touches and a better shine. Just make sure when you put it on, you spray it with brake cleaner or something to clean up your hand prints before you start the car. Otherwise, you'll have fingerprints on your lovely shiny headers lol
