View Full Version : JDMCC's Ride Of The Month Rules!(Updated Dec. 2009)
Ok here it is people the Official JDMCC Ride of the month Contest!
Here are the rules:
If you want to be considered for ride of the Month you must submit 5 (and no more than 5) good quality pics of your car to me at jdmcc_rotm@yahoo.com.
With JDMCC ROTM as the subject. If this is not in the subject I will ignore your submission.
Dina is no longer doing this as I, (Foos) have taken over the responsibility.
All entries must be received by the 15th of the month. Voting will begin on the 16th of the month and run up to the last day.
You must include a list of mods with the pics.
You must include your Screen name here on JDMCC with the submission.
No More than 5 Entires will be taken now each month FIRST COME FIRST SERVE
This is how your submission should be. It's simple copy and paste.

Motor:
Suspension/Brakes:
Exterior:
Interior:
I.C.E.:
Your peers on the site will vote for your car.
The winner will get their car on the main page of the site along with their list of mods and a link to their member's ride thread.

So the ride of the month will be chosen the month prior. When does the voting end?
scenario:
submissions by may 15th....then voting begins....till when the 26th? That gives 2 weeks to vote, then the last week of may you will interview the winner which is the 29/30 which is the last two days of the month.
Is that the correct format? Just curious since it isn't the 15th yet and the voting has already started. Shouldn't you wait till the 15th so everyone gets a fair chance at looking at the contestants before choosing?

UPDATED THE ROTM THREAD now we have 4 entiries so far! Entry registrastion will end on Thurday the 11th of this month and voting will start on Friday the 12 and will go until Friday the 26th of this month.

After further consideration this is open to everyone on JDMCC. I cant discriminate because people have a hatch or a ferio. SO Yes Speedy you can enter the ROTM!

its not a public vote so you will never know who voted for you just know that someone likes your ride enough to vote for it!

How do you feel about members going to other sites or asking their friends to sign up and vote for them?
Is there any way to have a length of membership or post requirement to vote in polls like this?
I will look into it Princess I have thought about that and I HOPE people are being Honest

can you entry for ROTM or ROTY more then once if you won already? like if u do major changes??
or how about once a yr?
you can enter the ROTM every month until you win then you have to wait until the next year to enter again the ROTY is all the winners of the ROTM from Jan to Dec of the last year
