Well I'm looking into getting a aftermarket steering wheel, but I do not have a clue where to start. And I also don't know what kinda of hub or size (if that even matters, I don't know) lol I just need some help so thanks in advance to any advice anyone can give me. Oh and also it would really be great if I could get one with the Honda emblem still :) Thanks again!

it all depends on how much you want to spend on a steering wheel as for the hub you will have to get a hub for it to fit the steering shaft on your car and fit the steering wheel most aftermarket wheels make hubs to fit there wheels and your car just depends on what you want. Momo sparco nrg nardi personal grant its all up to your budget really and what style and color you want

For your civic a JDM SRS DC2 wheel will look nice on your car. Check this out

For aftermarket try weaksauceparts.com and search for hub/wheel combos. The "hub" is the adapter that makes the wheel bolt onto the steering column. There's general hubs, thin hubs, quick release hubs...the list goes on. The wheel is normally held onto the hub by 6 allen keys/screws/bolts. A quick release hub separates so that the wheel can be taken off without much effort in the event of an accident (or in the real world, the wheel can be taken off as a theft preventative.)

Each manufacturer's wheels have different bolt patterns...so a hub meant for that company's wheel is needed. Don't buy a nardi hub for a momo wheel. Just keep in mind that these wheels eliminate the air bag.

If you want to stay OEM there are plenty of options. Unfortunately JDMEJ!'s suggestion of a dc2-r wheel will not work as dc/eg wheels do not fit ek's. Fortunately that gives you the opportunity to use an s2000 wheel, rsx/dc5 wheel, ek9 wheel...the list goes on.[COLOR="Silver"]

This is partly true, these wheels can be used if the entire steering column is swapped out for one of the appropriate year or model.

As said above their are many options for aftermarket wheels and many sites even have complete packages for your specific application. The main issue would be removing the airbag, which should be performed with extreme caution. You will also need to remove or bypass the SRS system to avoid a light on your dash.

Oh, & another question... if I buy for example, a momo steering wheel. Will I be able to pop off the center cap (easily) & put in a Honda one? And if i can do that, where can I buy the Honda center cap? :)

so when I disconnect the negative cable that is going to stop the air bag from having a chance to deploy? lol I don't want to get smacked in the face with an air bag.

Thanks for all the info btw. And that steering wheel you have is exactly what I'm looking for! In style anyways, I would want my emblem to be pink of course :)

I have a Personal (Nardi) Neo Grinta wheel with an NRG short hub, version 2.5 quick release and the hub lock. I absolutely love my wheel. If you have the luxury of going to a shop, hold some wheels and find one that's comfortable to you, or go to a big meet or car show and find one you like. I'll post up a pic of mine tomorrow (when. I can get a good shot).
