My TPS is throwing a CEL randomly. I'm going to take a look at it this weekend. But is there an incorrect way to install a new one? I mean it is attached to a mechanism that i'm sure rotates a certain way when the throttle opens up. So is it possible to have it installed backwards? I guess that's what i'm wondering. HAHA!! Thanks!!

No you cant install it backwords and you will need a multimeter and make sure you set the new one to .5 volts I believe I will check my service manual later and let you know for sure its really easier to just swap out trottle bodies

Thanks. I'm sure it is easier to just swap out the TBs but i don't have the money for that at the moment. I'm going to try and meter my current one now to make sure it doesn't need adjusting.

yeah it's .5 closed at idle and 5.0 at wide open with car turned off when you calibrate it of course.
