What: Dragon Run

Where: US HWY 129 aka "The Dragon"

When: Friday July 15th

Info: We are planning this run before leaving for Import Alliance in Nashville. The Nashville meet is July 16th and 17th. The Dragon Run will take place Friday July 15th. We plan to meet at Hooters in Alcoa at 11am. Eat lunch then roll out to the Dragon. The plan is to be done with the run by 2:00-3:00pm so we can all head out to Nashville. If anyone wants to join the caravan to Nashville that is fine. If you don't, that is fine too. We would love to see a big turnout for this 2nd annual summer run. If you don't make it for this one, there will be our annual fall run sometime in October.

I think technically I should be posting in the 'Texas' region... lol. I won't be able to make the summer IA at all, but I will be at the 4th annual 'Tail' run. Take a bunch of pics from IA and post them up. I wish I could make it out.

Texas is the south as far as I'm concerned. Dude that will be awesome if you can make it to the fall Dragon run. Details will be posted

Oh, I plan on being there. I don't know if I could wait any longer to get the parts I'm buying from MportedCivicSi. I'm already getting impatient. Lol. But yeah I'm scheduled to be off that week from work, so I should be able to make it out. I've been working all the OT I can to stay at the bottom of the list for mandatory OT. I haven't been further east than Tx since I was a kid. Looking forward to it!

Well, the cat's out of the bag... I didn't know if he was telling anybody about it or not. I didn't say anything because I didn't want anyone bugging him to sell it to them instead. Lol. I've wanted one since 03 when I first saw them, but I couldn't afford one then. Then when I could afford one, they were discontinued. The same thing happened with my Bomex mirrors. Took me 2 years to track those down. After the headliner, I've got 3 more discontinued parts to find.

Yeah he told me...lol. We are good friends and have been trying to make the annual Dragon Run in the fall a success for the last 4 years. It gained some cars last year...so it's an improvement over the first and second year. haha

Anyone from the south region plan on coming out, looks like we are going to have 12-15 cars running the dragon. Should be a good time.

Yeah I'm glad to be doing something like this. I live in the middle of nowhere. The town I live in has a couple of Hondas, but nothing serious at all. Just a couple kids who bought a civic and put rims on it. Lol. There's a 98 4door and an EP Si. It's kind of funny listening to them talk. You just know they're full of it. "Oh yeah my Si has Skunk2 stage 3 cams and valves. It's fully built man." Meanwhile the car idles perfectly smooth and the kid has a stock exhaust. You do the math on that one. Lol.
It's gonna be good to get around some real cars again. Can't wait for it!

On a side note, does anyone plan on staying in a hotel room up there the night before or the night of? If so, what hotel? It would be cool to all stay at the same place, meet up for breakfast and roll out... let me know. I would like to book a room pretty soon.
