weird shorting problem EJ8

This is a pretty random shorting problem I am having. I have figured out when it occurs regularly. My radio shorts out (turns off and turns back on) randomly. On the way home from work on Friday I tried to figure out when it happens. I noticed that if I accelerated really fast and then tapped my brake lights, the radio shorts out. Also, if I accelerate the same way and turn my headlights on, the radio shorts out. I've redone all the power connections on the back of my radio and checked the ground. I have really no idea where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated. This is a very weird problem and would like to get it figured out. Thanks.

Make sure any unused wiring is insulated. My friend Andy had a floating wire that Best Buy didnt tape off and it was shorting his stuff out. Threw some tape over the end and he was in business :)

If the fuse isn't popping then it isn't shorting. Sounds like a loose wire.
