i have a dx & i turboed it with a mini me setup.. my b16a(SiR-II) motor is stronger & faster. you'll be happier in the long run, but if you keep the D15B7,make your own custom turbo kit, or supercharge it.

you can also use the d16a6 cam with a 96-00 cam gear combo. i have yet to find dyno numbers but the cam is supposed to be more aggressive.
also ive heard that the zc single cam is even more aggressive than the a6 cam.

also you can use the z6 intake manifold its runners are significantly bigger than the d15b7's as well as the throttle body.

ive done all this stuff and its not crazy faster than it was but its not bad. in the end you'll probably want to go F.I.

well before i did my swap i removed the ps and ac. i did notice some increased pep from removing the PS. it jusdt pulled hard past like 4,500 to redline. It also gave the sterring a much more precise feel, ill post more on my "fluid assisting setup" sometime it works pretty darn good!!

i personally don't like the mini-me, especially if you plan on boosting later on down the road. right now, i should have about 10.8:1 cpr because i used a y8 headgasket. if you do go ahaed with the mini-me though, get a z6/y8 tranny. dx tranny's suck.

well i jsut rode in a pretty impressive d15b eg hatch, and he had a crower stage 2 cam, ti retainers, and vavle springs, and a 8 lbs fly wheel. and i was definatly impressive :rockon:

but one thing you should really look into is changing around gear ratios. like loook at which trannies gearing will work in your trans, and then look into a higher final drive ratio. that should wake up your motor a good bit;)


also a very good header will help out too, I.E: bisimoto:TU:

get a single cam ex/si tranny, lightened flywheel, gut out your ride and booost it. along with a good cam, cam gear, Intake mani and ignition. IMO
